My First Blog Post……. Here Goes!!

Why Keep a Fitness Blog in the First Place?

This is the first post on my new blog. I am writing this as a way of reflection on my fitness goals and my fitness experiences over the last few years. I also look to reflect and review current goals and progress. I hope it will motivate me in the long run and inspire me to keep going. I am keen to support people where I hope in some way it can help or motivate anyone who is reading it.

My life motto is ‘An Open World Begins With An Open Mind’ which on reflection can have many different meanings. For me it means, keep your mind open and listen to people, support people to the best of your ability and hear their stories and experiences.

My story reflects on my own fitness journey since starting training at the gym alongside external factors that have effected my health, well-being or motivation along the way. These external factors range from family life, social life, illness, injury and other events that have had a significant impact.

I have been supported by so many great people along the way, friends, family, personal trainers and members of staff at various gyms and fitness centres.

I am not a professional or trained expert in the field of exercise or fitness and don’t pretend to be either! What I am writing is opinion and what may be beneficial to me may not be beneficial to someone else. Everyone is different and everyone is unique in their own way.

If someone is inspired, motivated or interested in my writing then it will have made this even more worthwhile and, as always, I wish for the best for people and to see the best in people.
